Fear need not hold you back from your full life. Shift from fear to flow with these simple, powerful moves.
I like the visual examples, detail and how the antidotes are applied. Thank you Katie!
Thank You! This is very helpful, looking forward to applying this. You sure are encouraging ‘presence’ with this technique. And, yes, I figured out my fear response sequence with your example. Had never really thought about it (or paid attention to myself experiencing it) before this. Thank You, Kathlyn.
Hi Katie. Thanks for this great presentation. I am now aware that faint plays a bigger role in my life than I knew of. I am noticing that by using the melters my experience of responding vs reacting is enhanced and I am calmer in situations where before I was triggered.
Thank you for these simple and kind movements that enhances one’s wellbeing!
Love these. Thanks, Katie!
Katie, Thank you so much for what you are sharing here (and elsewhere… that’s a whole other letter which is in progress). I especially appreciate hearing about and resonating with fleeing up to my head and forward into the future. Love the new welcoming move for fainting… this really gives me a sense of confidence and trust in life’s unfolding by saying a full bodied “Yes!” to whatever is before me. I’m also excited about incorporating these concepts and movements into a Playback Theater class I intend to teach soon.
I like the fact that I can use or slightly modify these moves even while sitting in my wheelchair.
Thank You Katie
Katie, you explain and demonstrate these fear moves and melters in such a clear and compelling manner. I am beginning my practice today!
Thank you Katie. I will try them : I beleive they are powerful.
Hi Katie, I love this process. I’m teaching it to a group of people tomorrow as part of a workshop I’m doing and I know from previous experience that it is eye opening and so encouraging. Thanks so much for your creativity in creating this process. You get a big shout out from me every time I teach it. with much love, Suzanne
In hindsight, I learned that “fleeing” can be strategically used. While talking to a male friend, I sensed that he was about to say something very intense. Rather then allow my body to get hit by the energy, I intentionally shifted my weight back on one leg and and rotated my torso out of the way. As his words came out, my body was out of the way. I allowed the energy to pass right by me, rather then take it in. Cool! It took me a day or two to understand the significance of this body movement, but now I am sold on it!
OOOH Thank you Katie!
These are very helpful tools for me.
i knew i was getting stuck a lot, and had explored different paths to understanding myself, though now, with these im feeling empowered rather than telling myself Im defective.
today i have been playing with ALL the melter moves together in a kind of move-my-body dance, and just noticing which ones resonate most in the moment in terms of shifting my sense of being towards more ease and flow.
Katie, I appreciate the resources that you provide I find them useful and happily share them with friends and colleagues.
Thanks so much for this update, Katie!! Sooooo use-full both professionally and personally!!! Yum!!
Wow – So great to watch this for a brush up, review, motivation, renewal. Thank you! I appreciate you, Katie, for updating this video to include more recent discovery and sharing your experience with us. I’m going to email the link to this delightful video to my clients!
This is very lovely information and is a great visual from the Sedona method on the last one (the fear melters)…
I will pass this on to the children I work with 🙂 Thank you!
I enjoyed learning more about these fear melters. I notice fear rising this morning in a conversation mainly in the form of flee, freeze and faint. After a minute or so, fight appeared. Now, even after 12 hours have passed, I noticed that the melters opened more flow. I loved learning something new. Thanks, Katie! ~Phil
Much appreciation and gratitude for your work Katie 🙂
Simple, effective and so valuable. Thank you for all you share and teach Katie!
It seems my life basic response to life is FEAR! At times I marvel at the vast array of what I am afraid of! I am so grateful to be able to turn towards my body and specifically towards movement, as Katie suggests, to melt away my fear long enough to enable me to take action! I even use these movements when I am at home, If I catch myself procrastinating over a work project.
This video arrived in perfect timing as I was sitting and wondering about some things today… and the answer popped into my inbox in the form of this video! Brilliant! A big thank you from the UK today!
Thank you so much for all the free resources. Your generosity itself is the biggest fear dissolver…at least for those of us living in fear of scarcity. And then..so many new body moves and insights. Wow! Than you so much. You are my gift from the universe today. May you be similarly so generously gifted.
